SnowHenge

Over the past week or so, the UK's seen a ridiculous amount of snowfall. Naturally, our intrepid hengers were eager to get their mitts on the white stuff. @SundaeG1rl went for a large single monolith:

SNOWHENGE I

...while @CharlieMcNichol opted for the full circle:

SNOWHENGE II

Both are impressive examples of henging, especially when you consider how cold it was!

PCHenge

@DazzW saw a henge opportunity at work...just don't tell Health & Safety! Is this the biggest henge yet?

PCHENGE

Apologies to those who thought this was going to involve policemen!

HahnHenge

Hahn is a brand of Australian beer, in case you didn't know. And @Brismark had a lot of it lying about at work:

HAHNHENGE

Good sturdy, beery henging - you can't beat it!

ChampagneHenge

@brismark was lucky enough to have some bottles of bubbly lying about:

CHAMPAGNEHENGE

Cheers!

MathsHenge

@bird42 is well-versed in the arts of delegation and education. And if delegation leads to education, then so much the better!

In other words, she got a class of 30 kids to get their heads round the 3x table by making them henge:

MATHSHENGE

A trilithon is a doorway-shaped monument consisting of three stones. Did you know that?

CigHenge

@Charliemcnichol is lucky enough to have IRL friends to help her henge at the pub:

CIGHENGE

Many thanks to @shewasminetoo and @sammytdobson for their help and understanding. maybe they'll be inspired to henge too...

TortillaHenge

@SIMpixels was taken out for a nice meal, but it seems he forgot all his mother told him about playing with his food:

TORTILLAHENGE

Nevertheless, it's a lovely piece of location henging!

HospitalHenge

No, SundaeG1rl hasn't managed the impossible and henged entire buildings yet! A day spent loitering around the hospital proved to be very fruitful in terms of henging:

OXYGENHENGE

BEDCURTAINHENGE

BLOODPRESSUREMACHINEHENGE

DRIPHENGE

CAGEHENGE

PIPEHENGE

Hurrah for the NHS and their hengeable objects!

TwigHenge

The urge to henge can strike at any time. Sundaeg1rl realised this on her visit to the park:

TWIGHENGE

Captures the Autumn light beautifully, doesn't it?

TennisHenge

Sundaeg1rl's pleasant afternoon on the courts was rounded off with a little light henging:

RACQUETHENGE

TENNISBALLHENGE

Love all!

FlapjackHenge

@stephiemalvern went wandering o'er hill and dale, eventually succumbing to henge and snack temptation:

FLAPJACKHENGE

Observe the juxtaposition of texture and colour: the hard, umpenetrable mottled rock and the soft, crumbly golden flapjack. Also note the element of danger in this henge. Livin' on the edge!

HandGelHenge

@bird42 believes cleanliness is next to godliness:

HANDGELHENGE

That's hard to say. And to spell without kerfuffle!

Also, Hertfordshire County Council seem to be very precious about their liquid soap!

BookDisplayHenge

Celebrity cookbooks can get a bit samey after a while. Whilst wandering in WH Smith, @Bird42 found a way to jazz up Rick Stein's latest:

BOOKDISPLAYHENGE

Perhaps, by henging, they have become magical and opened a portal to Palermo.

Perhaps not.

CafeHenge

@M20Mermaid and @Sundaeg1rl went for a nice afternoon at the teashop:

CAFEHENGE

And because there were two of them, you get an extra viewpoint:

CAFEHENGE (alternative view)

CappuccinoHenge

@M20Mermaid and @Sundaeg1rl really got into the swing of henging in public. And the giant cups were an irresistible temptation:

CAPPUCCINOHENGE

Once again, we have a different angle:

StaffroomHenge

@bird42 found herself bored in a school staffroom. So she did what any bored Henger would do:

STAFFROOMHENGE

Not a coffee-stained mug nor an elbow-patched jacket in sight!

RoadHenge

@SundaeGirl went on a nice day out in the countryside, and found some big chunks of tarmac and road paint lying on the side of the path. Naturally, she got the urge to henge:

ROADHENGE

While this is an unusual and unorthodox henge shape, she is applauded for her use of what was to hand..and also for being brave enough to henge in public for the first time. Well done!

BeachHenge

@bird42 loves her henges. So much so she took off to the beach and made her own:

BEACHHENGE

She muses: "Sadly we watched the tide wash them away. It was poetic."
